Position 1: Guard X28

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (NQF Level 2)
- PSIRA Grade C Registration
- Valid driver’s license
- Firearm competency certificate (issued by SAPS)
- 4 years’ experience in a high-risk security environment
- Clear security screening record
- Medically fit and able to pass risk-based medical evaluation
Advantageous Qualifications
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Certificates in:
- Crowd control
- Tactical firearms
- Defensive and restraint techniques
- Advanced driving
- Firearm handling (handgun, shotgun, rifle/carbine)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrolling and guarding duties
- Enforce access control and conduct personnel/vehicle searches
- Inspect buildings and identify security risks
- Respond to incidents and participate in crime scene procedures
- Report incidents via the CiMMS system
- Support cost-saving initiatives
- Foster stakeholder relationships and contribute to safety culture
Position 2: Guard X24

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or National Certificate GET Services (Level 4)
- PSIRA Grade C Registration
- Firearm competency certificate
- Minimum 1 year of security-related experience (preferably in mining)
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
- Clear security screening
- Medically fit for duty
Advantageous Qualifications
- NQF Level 5: Higher Certificate in Security or Law
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct underground and surface operations to apprehend offenders
- Respond to crime-related intelligence
- Execute shaft, plant, and walkway searches
- Provide VIP escorts and assist in disruptive operations
- Escort suspects and testify in court when necessary
- Comply with SHE standards and company policies
- Participate in risk assessments and values-driven culture programs
