Your Role: Waiter

As a Waiter, you’ll be more than just a friendly face serving food — you’ll be a key part of creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

You’ll work across different service areas, including:

  • The Restaurant – Serving guests in a warm, attentive, and professional manner.
  • Room Service – Delivering meals and beverages directly to guests’ rooms with a smile.
  • Function Areas – Assisting with special events, conferences, or banquets when needed.

Your job will combine two main focus areas:

  1. Front of House – Providing excellent guest service, taking orders, delivering meals, and ensuring our guests feel cared for from the moment they arrive until they leave.
  2. Stock & Preparation – Assisting with stock control, restocking service areas, and keeping workspaces organized and efficient.

We want guests to leave saying, “That was the best service I’ve ever had” — and you’ll play a big part in making that happen.

  • Education – Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
  • Experience – Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills – A calm and confident approach when things get busy or unexpected challenges arise.
  • Teamwork & Independence – Able to work as part of a team, but also capable of taking initiative when needed.
  • Communication Skills – Clear and professional communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Integrity – Honest, reliable, and trustworthy at all times.
  • Attention to Detail – From perfectly set tables to remembering a guest’s favorite drink, you notice the small things that make a big difference.
  • Presentation – Well-groomed, presentable, and professional in both appearance and manner.
  • Proactive Mindset – Anticipating needs before they arise and always staying one step ahead.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport easily.
  • Flexibility – Willing and able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
