The Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) is inviting applications for General Worker positions within the Chief Directorate: District Coordination.

Key Performance Areas
General Worker (Muti Wa Va Tsonga Museum & Sekhukhune District)
- Perform general maintenance and basic repair duties at museums or heritage sites
- Clean and maintain museum buildings and surroundings
- Collect and use raw materials for restoration and renovation work
- Maintain fencing, landscaping, and control soil erosion
- Conduct de-bushing, weed clearing, and create firebreaks to prevent fires
- Maintain and use tools and equipment safely and responsibly
General Worker (Mopani District)
- Load and offload furniture, goods, and equipment
- Clean and maintain building interiors and exteriors
- Distribute and collect departmental documents
- Operate basic machines (e.g., vacuum cleaners, photocopiers)
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- NQF Level 1 or 2 (Grade 8 or 9) / AET or ABET Level 2 Certificate from a recognized institution
Knowledge & Skills:
For Muti Wa Va Tsonga Museum & Sekhukhune District:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors under pressure
- Knowledge of maintenance, cleaning, paving, bush clearing, firebreaks, and soil erosion control
For Mopani District:
- Basic literacy and communication skills
- Ability to operate simple machinery
- Understanding of cleaning, gardening, and health and safety procedures
