Position Details
- Position: Customer Service Consultant (x6)
- Reports To: Manager, Call Center
- Business Unit: Operations
- Location: Bloemfontein, Free State
- Position Status: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)
- Position Grade: C2
Purpose of the Job
Attend to customer queries and complaints received through the Inbound Contact Centre, assisting customers telephonically and providing excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do: Job Responsibilities
- Attend to incoming calls from customers
- Resolve queries and complaints efficiently and effectively
- Manage KPIs for call answering, handling, and waiting times
- Provide professional and efficient customer service
- Raise escalations and potential risks to customers and the company when identified
What You Need: Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12
- 1 to 2 years’ customer service experience in an Inbound Contact Centre
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Excellent understanding of contact center telephony systems
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Knowledge of Customer Service and TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles
- Hands-on approach to work
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent customer service skills; able to handle call volumes and maintain service standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, service-driven environment
