ABOUT THE PROGRAM
York Timbers invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the 2025/2026 Internship Experience Programme — a structured 12-month workplace program that offers practical, hands-on industry experience in the forestry and related sectors.
The program bridges the gap between academic learning and full-time employment by providing:
- Exposure to real working environments
- Professional mentorship
- Development of industry-relevant skills
Successful candidates will enhance their employability while contributing meaningfully to operational and administrative functions within York Timbers.

York Timbers can accommodate 11 interns across the following disciplines:

WHO CAN APPLY?
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be currently unemployed.
- Be South African citizens aged 18–35 years.
- Have completed a relevant diploma or degree.
- Be willing to commit to a 12-month workplace program.
Preference will be given to candidates in line with Employment Equity requirements.

- A certified copy of your South African ID.
